Jirujiru travelogue was originally serialized in the 1997 January and Febuary editions of manga gaudi (まんがガウディ) until manga gaudi's cancelation that Febuary.

The series was then transfered to its successor Manga Aloha! where it was serialized from July to to November 1997. In febuary 1998 it was published as Jirujiru travelogue: India edition (ぢるぢる旅行記 インド編) by bunkasha and was later released in Jirujiru travelogue: Anthology (ぢるぢる旅行記 総集編) by seirindo in 2001 which included the unfinished Nepal section.
