Jirujiru observations was serialized in PUTAO magazine between 1996 to 1998.
"K-San", the host present through the series is editor Hiroko Kato (加藤宏子) of Hakusensha and PUTAO magazine (which itself was a property of Hakusensha).

She appears in this portion of the doccumentary The Death of Nekojiru and gives comment about Chiyomi and her interactions with her leading up to her death.

Jirujiru Observations was later published within Nekojiru Shokudo and Nekogamisama 2.
